Of course, they are super!

However, the attraction of the less visited islands, the quiet Greek islands, is definitely more appealing to me. Make sure you read below to see why they are so special.

The Cyclades are a group of Greek islands located in the central Aegean Sea, southeast of mainland Greece.

However, for my 10 day itinerary, I have selected my personal best quiet Greek islands in the Cyclades. Read on to discover why in this 10 day itinerary.

Getting There to begin your 10 day itinerary

The easiest way to begin your trip is to fly into either Athens or Mikanos and take a ferry to Naxos. Ferries are the easiest and most popular way to island-hop in Greece. There is an extensive network for you to choose from although many only operate during the summer months. Always check the websites whist planning your trip.

For ferry routes and bookings, check:

SeaJet, in particular, offers a high-speed service and always worth checking first. It is more expensive than the conventional ferries but both offer a scenic way of travelling that you’re sure to enjoy.

Days 1-4: Naxos

To reach Naxos, fly to Mikanos and catch the Seajet (35mins) or fly to Athens and catch the SeaJet (3.15hrs).

Why is Naxos one of my best quiet Greek islands?

As the largest island in the Cyclades, Naxos perfectly balances beautiful beaches, authentic villages and outdoor adventures. It also prides itself on being the greenest island in the Cyclades.

Things to Do in Naxos on this 10 day itinerary:
